What it is
SPARTA (SCADA Protection And Real-Time Alert) is a protection solution for industrial control systems that runs on the HMI server as a software module. It combines an intrusion prevention system (IPS) and an intrusion detection system (IDS) with algorithms and artificial intelligence, with no new components added to the control network.
What it gives you
- Confirms, to a high degree of certainty, that an input came from a human operator and not from malware
- Needs no new components on the network, and preserves the vendor's warranty
- Layered protection against attacks from outside and inside the network
- Monitors every asset on the network: PLCs, RTUs, HMI servers and clients
- Stops the server itself from attacking other assets on the network
- Works together with GRAPHENE hardware to strengthen detection
- Compatible with NERC CIP and NIST, and with a range of HMI platforms and controllers
